MY ROLE

As Communication Coordinator at Coco de Mer, my role was expansive and varied within a small team of women. My responsibilities included idea generation, content creation, art direction, social media strategising, copywriting across platforms and email marketing. I worked closely with the Brand Director and CEO on a day to day basis and liaise with photographers, art directors and producers to bring our vision to life.

Within my time at Coco de Mer, I adjusted the social media strategy to adopt a more personable and inclusive tone of voice, to better reflect the new more approachable feel of luxury brands. The look and feel of our content shifted slightly to something more approachable and rooted in reality, while maintaining a strong sense of luxury and barefaced confidence. My social media strategy for Coco de Mer succeeded in the aim of being more engaging, taking advantage of interactive forms of media and video content to build connections with our growing customer base.
